General Objective
The fundamental purpose of AI2LEAD is to analyze and develop Artificial Intelligence (AI) competencies among school leadership teams. The project is based on the premise that school leadership is the essential driver for achieving a profound educational and social transformation in the digital era.
To overcome existing gaps in knowledge on how AI can be embedded in education and to empower school leaders, this project aims to provide AI-based strategies that facilitate the transformation of schools in the context of societal advancement.
The research objectives of this project are structured into three General Objectives (GO) and six Specific Objectives (SO):
GO 1: Explore the potential of Artificial Intelligence in education and the role of school leaders as drivers of social transformation.
-
SO 1.1: Conduct a systematic review of scientific literature on the state of the art to provide an evidence-based corpus.
-
SO 1.2: Create an AI-based skills framework, based on evidence, addressed to school leaders for incorporating AI into schools.
GO 2: Design, implement, and evaluate an AI Skills Lab aimed at school leadership teams to advance the transformation of education and society.
-
SO 2.1: Identify the competencies school leadership teams currently have in relation to AI.
-
SO 2.2: Co-create an AI Skills Lab for school leadership teams based on scientific evidence.
-
SO 2.3: Implement the AI Skills Lab for school leadership teams.
-
SO 2.4: Determine the influence of the AI Skills Lab on schools.
